Winner of DNA survey prize draw

TundeDeptford Neighbourhood Action, Deptford’s Neighbourhood Forum held a prize draw for local residents who took part in our Survey asking for their views on our Draft Neighbourhood Plan policies.

Tunde took part in a consultation event on the Silwood Estate back in February this year and entered the draw and was one of the two names drawn to receive a £50 voucher for a Deptford shop of his choice as the Neighbourhood Forum is working to support local independent businesses.  Tunde said he would like to spend his prize at My Butchers at 55 Deptford High Street, and Andrea Hughes met him there to congratulate him and to hand over his prize.

Tunde said he couldn’t believe it when he was phoned to say that he had won the prize.  He said to DNA that he wants things to improve on the Silwood Estate where he lives and that’s why he took part in the survey.  He said he was very excited about winning and hoped that the news of his win would motivate people to take part in future DNA surveys.  His is advice to DNA about the Neighbourhood Plan was to “keep it up”.
