Dear Evelyn Residents,
I am delighted to share the news that the NCIL Ward Fund is now open for applications from Lewisham residents.
Over £2.9 million is available for community projects through Lewisham’s NCIL ward fund, and each ward has an allocated pot of funding to support projects in their local area. In Evelyn ward, we have a total of £691,020 and are offering a variety of grants for small, medium and large scale projects.
We want to hear ideas for projects that fit within the priorities in your local ward, which are:
1. Open/Green spaces and nature
2. Transport and streets
3. Community Safety
4. Community Facilities
5. Air Quality
A further Covid-19 Recovery priority has been added across all wards to help areas recover, rebuild and adapt following the pandemic.
We are holding a number of workshops throughout October and November to provide information about the fund and to answer any questions and queries you may have.
To find out more about what we can fund through the NCIL ward fund, to make an application or to book onto a workshop please visit our webpage.
In the meantime if you have any specific questions please contact the NCIL team on 020 8314 6595 or ncilfund@lewisham.gov.uk
Please do share this information with anyone you think may be interested in applying.
We look forward to receiving applications for projects that will make a difference in your local community.
Please note the fund closes on 21 November 2021
With very best wishes,
Katie
